Omnilabs Research is an innovative MedTech firm that is focused on rehabilitation technology development.

We’re building technology that empowers stroke survivors to regain independence. Our goal is to allow for anytime, anywhere, remote and accessible fine-motor physiotherapy that is designed for real progress.

Stroke rehabilitation is tedious and expensive.

Stroke Survivors only get 60 minutes a week with physiotherapists, whereas 3 hours is the daily recommended duration for rehabilitation exercise that is essential for rapid recovery.

Omnihuman is the first glove dedicated to tele-rehabilitation that uses music through mixed reality as a motivation factor to encourage patients to exercise consistently.

Omnihuman is designed to gamify the tele-rehabilitation process for stroke survivors, to make the process more engaging and educational for stroke survivors through the use of music, mixed reality, and assistive robotics.

How It Works

Music Therapy

Leveraging a mechanism known as Music Tendency, we are using music cues as an innate motivator factor in enhancing exercise adherence, consistency and engagement.

Extended Reality^(XR)

Immersive XR environments make therapy feel like real life. Adaptive, interactive, and motivating, helping patients regain control through meaningful movement.

Assistive Robotics

Our assistive intelligent robotic gloves independently worn without caregiver support, complete with pneumatic assistance for fine motor rehabilitation, haptic feedback and tactile sensation.
